USA is no more a beacon of human rights. A report highlights gross abuse of human rights in USA.

USA embroiled in allegations of religious bigotry, racial discrimination and election fraud.

Centre for Democracy, Pluralism and Human Rights, has come out with a startling report on human rights violations in United States of America. According to this report, in recent years, free speech rights and freedom of the press have been eroded and Internet  controls have been institutionalized. Voices are suppressed on social media, the academia,  as well as the print and broadcast media, and are forced to speak in one voice that matches  the opinion of the USA government officials, and as per the new policies to control the  internet, which have been put in place by intelligence officials, and masqueraded as  policies to advance the free-speech rights of the common people. In general, any opinion  that is not part of the approved ‘liberal’ discourse or the approved ‘conservative’ discourse  is branded as an ‘extremist’ position, and people with independent positions are hounded  out of the public space.

Following are the other shocking highlights of the Report:

1. RACIAL DISCRIMINATION: RACISM IS DEEPLY ENTRENCHED IN THE SYSTEM

Structural Racism Built into the State Constitution Some of the provisions in the State  Constitution are racist and continue to date, like the Three-Fifths Clause which  violates the principle of equality, and the Fugitive Slave Clause which did not permit  people to escape slavery.

Three-Fifths Clause (Native Indians, not to be numbered equally but three-fourths)

“Representations and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several States  which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers,  which shall be adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to  Service for a term of years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three-fifths of all other  persons.”

The 3rd Clause of the 4th Article of the USA Constitution authorizes the enslavers to seize  enslaved people:

“No person held to Service or Labour in one State, under the Laws thereof, escaping into  another, shall, in Consequence of any Law or Regulation therein, be discharged from such  Service or Labour, but shall be delivered up on Claim of the Party to whom such Service or  Labour may be due.”

The Constitutions of California and New York states too have racist provisions, which are meant to deny housing and disfranchise Native Americans respectively.

Systemic Issues: Racism and Corruption in the Legal System and Judiciary

The law enforcement agencies, legal system, and the judiciary have all built up a reputation for corruption and racism.

In particular, a harsh law passed in 1994 was designed to ensure that Blacks would face a  cruel justice system and long prison terms which would, in turn, benefit the owners of private prisons. Blacks are given more severe punishment by judges for the same crimes.

The composition of the judiciary is racist in nature. Most of the positions are filled by Whites and fewer Blacks, Asians, and Native Americans in proportion to their population. Even  Clerkships are not offered to Blacks easily. However, Blacks lead in the number of wrongful convictions.

Racism is Institutionalized in Political Parties

Both the parties have been hypocritical in their conviction to end racism and none of them framed a comprehensive policy to eradicate it. Leaders of both parties have made racist remarks at multiple occasions, venting out their ingrained racism.

Implosion in Shashi Tharoor’s favourite constituency: Karachi

Black day in Kashmir:

Kashmir is celebrating Black day today to commemorate the invasion of Kahmir by so called tribal raiders aided and abetted by newly created East Pakistan from Punjab. Interestingly Pakistan had entered into a Standstill Agreement with the Maharaja of Kashmir on August 12, 1947. but suddenly on this day that is the October 22, 1947, it unilaterally broke the Agreement and launched an invasion to forcibly capture Jammu and Kashmir using tribal raiders. The raiders, as is well known, raped, looted and pillaged the state with a ferocity that shocked the people till the Indian army came to the rescue.

Complicity of Jinnah:

Major General Akbar Khan in his book ‘Raiders in Kashmir’ explains how he diverted 4,000 military rifles of the Punjab Police transferred to the raiders. Similarly ammunition was also clandestinely diverted for use in Kashmir. There are many other books corroborating the brutal account of raid on Kashmir. Hence it is celebrated as Black day in the valley.

While Shashi Tharoor had audacity to praise this rogue estate in Lahore Literature Festival, he had no time to tweet about the Black day. Why?

The answer is obvious. It would amount to criticizing his favourite country his party created and nourished for all these years. The country where wheat is presently in short supply and being sold at Rs. 75/- a kg sugar is sold there for Rs. 125/-. Even if we discount the currency disparity, the price is still double of what these essential commodities cost in India. Therefore people are up in arms against the rulers which is the Army. There is a possibility of implosion but that will not make Shashi Tharoor to say anything as it is his favourite country. The day he made speech at Lahore LitFest, opposition parties were already coming together in Sindh province of Pakistan to protest.

What Indian Media did not show:

On Sunday 11-party anti-government Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance staged a massive rally in Karachi at a jam-packed Bagh-i-Jinnah in the shadow of the Jinnah’s mausoleum. The leaders of the opposition parties vowed that their struggle would continue till the fall of Imran Khan’s government. Sindhi People’s Party ‘owner’ Bilawal Bhutto addressed the rally and compared incumbent Prime Minister with dictators in these words:

Identity Politics in Democracy

What is the most attractive way to enjoy power?

It is the power without responsibility. Governance without accountability is the dream come true for a politician. Identity politics is right method to achieve this fate. It has been tested from country after country. Nobody can say who invented it but British pioneered this method of governance in it’s empire by promoting different identities and keeping them at each other’s throat at all the time and act as nice pacifist arbitrator of bloody disputes.

Shashi Tharoor in his book ‘An Era of Darkness’ has given the details as to how census operations were used to shoe horn different communities into ‘caste’ identities and then promote some and oppress others for 15 years and then patronize different caste and oppress other.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi raises questions on existence of United Nations, itself!!

To watch the Address Live:

Text of PM’s address at the 75th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session 2020:

Respected President of the General Assembly. On behalf of over 1.3 billion people of India, I would like to congratulate every member country on the 75th anniversary of the United Nations. India is proud of the fact that it is one of the founding members of the United Nations. On this historic occasion, I have come to this global platform to share the sentiments of 1.3 billion people of India.

Your Excellency

The world of 1945 was significantly different from today’s world. The global situation, sources-resources, problems-solutions; all were quite different. And as a result the form and the composition of the institution, established with the aim of global welfare, were in accordance with the prevailing situation of those times. Today we are in a completely different era. In 21st century, The requirements and challenges of our present as well as our future are vastly different from those of the past. Therefore, the international community today is faced with a very important question: Whether the character of the institution, constituted in the prevailing circumstances of 1945, is relevant even today? If century changes and we don’t, then strength to bring changes becomes weak. If we assess the last 75 years of the United Nations, we see several achievements

But at the same time, there are also several instances that point to a serious need for introspection for the United Nations. One could say that we have successfully avoided a third world war, but we cannot deny that there have been several wars and many civil wars. Several terrorist attacks shook the world and there have been bloodsheds. The people who lost their lives in these wars and attacks were human beings, like you and me. Thousands of children, who would have otherwise enriched this world, left us prematurely. So many people lost their life savings and became homeless refugees. Were the efforts of the United Nations sufficient during those times or are these efforts adequate even today?

The whole world is fighting the global pandemic of Corona for the last 8-9 months.

Where is the United Nations in this joint fight against the pandemic? Where is its effective response?

Debbie Abraham is an unintelligent lier.

Can a lier be trusted?

Lying can be human trait but to be a successful lier man needs a lot of practice preservance and expertise. Historians are the ultimate experts. British and Communist historians are the best in the art of lying.

British parliamentarian Debbie Abraham head applied for a business visa last year and it was granted to her in October 2019 for one year duration. Debbie is known Pakistan proxy who works under the cover of human right activist. Why she was given visa is unclear but according to you this statement issued by the government the said visa was revoked on 14 February 2020 and Debbie was informed by email. Yet she chose to insist on visiting India without valid visa and when she was not permitted she played the victim card. She was insisting on visa on arrival claiming to be some very important person VIP.

In a wonderfully conducted interview on telephone by republic TV it is clear that she is not only a liar but is also a very poor and unintelligent one. She keeps on changing her stand and shifting the goal post in the interview. Listen to her and decide for yourself:
