Rejection of Bail Application of Rhea Chakraborty.

Status

As expected bail applications of Rhea Chakraborty and co-accused persons have been rejected. The hype created their favour by various interested persons of movie industry and media has fizzled out.

For granting bail in narcotics matter, the judge has very little room especially in first six months. India has toughest law against drugs which has only recently been diluted to distinguish between dealer and mere user.

This is not a case of a casual user but regular peddlers, handlers and financiers.

Once the bail is rejected from High Court, NCB will be back in the game.

In High Court the accused persons may choose to file one application at a time for each accused seperately.

This is all I would like to comment at this time.

Life in fever.

In shadows lies, the nimble life in fever;
Agility is in beseeching seasonal visitor;
Scribble is a Marathon less traveled,
Tell those who blog daily,
Crave no more words than the hand may shiver;
Here lies a gladiator with Armour, as Nemesis.
Adieus!
Until a better sunrise from the east of the spinning head.

Winter has frozen my thoughts!

Winter is finally here. Temperature made some lows recently. No statistical upheaval. New Delhi is quiet today after agitation for past many days. Every locality has burnt its share of candles. Now it seems to be time for prayers.
The sun is brightest today. May be after a whole week. My thoughts seem to have started to melt. Or may be I was lost in so many warm clothes or quilts that I could not write anything. A lazy week. Warm bath and warm food were the only eventful things. It is a five-hour day now. See this dog in sweater:

Dog in sweaterThe brightness of Sun is only to entice me out. I am trying. But in a few days, another snow fall on the hills and the New Year will greet with chills.
Meanwhile let’s take it easy. Nothing is going to be same even if nothing changes at all.

New Delhi without dust storm in summer 2012

Status

Dust storm is part of summer in New Delhi. This year has been an exception. No dry dust storm. The onset of summer was late. It started in mid May unlike mid April every year. Summer was hot enough. It did touch 48 degree celsius but there was no dust storm. High velocity air is part of summer when hot air shifts rapidly leaving the space for cold air to rush in but it did not happen this summer.
Today is unusually windy. Like summer but that is not unusual. It happens at this time when weather kick starts for winter. But this year the usual dry dust storm we’re absent in May, June or July. Storms did hit New Delhi but only as precursor to rain. No dry dust storm. Why?
It is no doubt that Delhi is much more green than what it used to be. I wonder if that is the reason for absence of dust storm.
We can only wonder? Why?

Where is my Pizza? Is it Italian or Indian?

Status

Pizza from the box

What is an Italian Pizza?

The chinese food sold in India is not Chinese but it is Indian Chinese Food. I wonder if same is the position of Pizza. Domino and Slice of Italy are my favourite but I always wonder if it taste same as actual Italian Pizza?
Few years back I may have ventured to Italian Embassy to find out if their canteen serve ethnic pizza but the terrorists have made us prisoners of our fears and any one asking unusual question at highly secured place like a foreign embassy at New Delhi, may not get right answer. Would they have a public canteen for ordinary Indian citizen?

Geographical Misrepresentation:

Geographical names are so blatantly misused that often it goes by unnoticed. Nobody is bothered by Geographical Indication ……. Act, 1999 which was enacted to curb such mischief. Mozzarella cheese is protected under European Union Geographical indications and traditional specialities.
Do these Pizza maker import all the cheese from Italy? If not, it can not be called Mozzarella.
Now if Slice of Italy is not adding any ingredient to its pizza by actually importing it from Italy, can it call it Italian Pizza? Or should it be called “Indian Italian Pizza” or “Indian Pizza, cooked Italian way”?
After all anything resembling round shape Italian bread with cheese over it is not pizza. Even if it is, yet it is not Italian Pizza, unless the recipe is Italian.
This brings to second problem, except a few, all pizzas sold in India with vegetarian topping are recipes created in India by Indians and for Indians. So how Italian is my Pizza served in New Delhi?
I think very little Italian.
Welcome to the Authentic Indian Pizza.

Pizza ladies on the wall.
