The title Billionaire Club does not refer to the billionaires mentioned in the Forbes list of Billionaires. It is a name of an extended pub or nightclub in New Delhi. While the prices of everything is ten or fifteen times the normal, the noise is at same decibel level as in any party. Young, mostly in couples bubble up their night on champagne, while some may also be drowning their sorrows in liquor, expecting to cheer up with loud music.

Ever heard the preposition “Lend me money against my cheque, I shall return in 10 days!” or something similar. Borrowers are all around us. Often such preposition causes a dilemma. Accept or not to accept? What should be the excuse? If amount is small it is even more embarrassing. If a person from whom it is being borrowed is ill or indisposed, it should be embarrassing to borrower but it is not.

The debt business:

Long time ago I met a publisher who told me that ‘Borrowing’ is a latest business. Presently I am suing him in court for counterfeiting my books. But as an unscrupulous person, he knew the mentality very well. But it can not be generalized. But as far as strangers are concerned lending money is complete NO. But there are people around us act to be friends, neighbors, relatives etc. After are we are not going to sue them if they default. What about them? So the question is how to decide to lend or not to lend money? Continue reading

Money! Stop bickering behind my back. It will not help you.

Ruins.

from riches to ruins.

Money has become a contraption.

Money loves bickering behind my back, telling everyone what I should do or what I have done. This is childish but Money refuses to grow up. I had always liked to treat Money with respect but it just does not grow up. Chasing money, booze or young girls/boys promising great time, is no achievement in life. Money should be put to better use in life.

Problem of being Money

Money has a problem it wants to be somebody. Somebody famous. A celebrity, may be. Actually Money has no intrinsic value. But the truth, as Buddha observed long ago, nothing in this world has any intrinsic value. Some people develop some skills, like writing but most are never interested in that. However the skills are also temporary. An Orator becomes invalid by Alzheimer in no time.
As a progeny of greed and fear, one could never out grow destiny. So what it will be? The richest man. The country’s richest man built his new home. The most expensive home in the world but is fearful to move into it due to some perception. The fear of uncertainty of future still controls him. Wealth could not kill fear rather expanded it. Yet an Automaton will follow rather chase money and become Money. Continue reading

How corporate Grifters, Thugs and Conmen dupe us all the times.

Grifters, Thugs, Conmen, Swindlers or Scamesters, by whatever name called, follow one principle that the people who do not know how to retain their money, do not deserve to possess it. They utterly lack any center of morality, when it comes to money. A person with money is their target or the mark. Grifter works by generating confidence. Once the mark or target trusts the grifter, the move is made to accept the asset moved by mark under confidence.
Sound familiar? Not yet? Wikipedia defines this trick or scam it as:

A confidence trick is an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their confidence. A confidence artist is an individual operating alone or in concert with others who exploits characteristics of the human psyche such as dishonesty, honesty, vanity, compassion, credulity, irresponsibility, naïveté or greed.

Corporate Grifters:

The corporate grifters rob people with two kinds of justifications or explanation:
1. It is the market force or something beyond their control
2. It is just an unintentional error which never happens. Continue reading
