Is Chinese Army trapped in Ladakh?
Chinese Army battalions of about 15000 strong troops is trapped in Moldo plains near Chushul. Place is surrounded by hills and has a narrow escape. Indian army has captured all strategic heights near by.
The Moldo is a small place with entry from a source pathway which does not provide any movement except in a single file. In other words the existing army can leave this position by retreating in a que through a narrow passage. It can wait where it is till the Indian Army permits it but it is always under the shadow of artillery fire which can start at any time. Chinese army has it’s own artillery and it can retaliate or worse, it may start the war but it can not survive at this place.
Meanwhile all the players in the media have started to call upon the India to play soft ball assuming that these 15000 Chinese troupes assembled here by an act of God. The media in India which sympathies with China is stunned by this cornering of Chinese Army. They want to visit Ladakh and are complaining that they are unable to do it. China seriously needs intelligence. It needs plans of Indian Army. It was bad intelligence that led China into the trap at Moldo.

He said that China is not responsible for the recent border situation between China and India, and it was India that first violated bilateral agreements, illegally crossing the border line for provocation, unilaterally changing the status quo of the border area, and firing gunshots to threaten the safety of the Chinese border troops.”
In other words, China wants that India should withdraw it’s troops from borders and leave it open for Chinese Army to take over. How optimistic? What a sense of entitlement? Anyway, the above statement is in response to the following statement of Defence Minister of India as delivered in Parliament of India. Continue reading
