Don't die young!

Every death creates short term turmoil. Eventually all is settled. But young death creates many problems. We do not live with freedom to die. Though it is a paradox but this very lack of this freedom often hastens death. In life, in commitments of marriage and family, we often create obligations, which upon disruption by death, rattles many lives. It is more true when wife is non-working. The best course appears to be: ‘Do not die young‘. But what to do to avoid the paradox, pointed out above.
In one sentence: ‘Change your lifestyle’. The truth is that mere change may be inadequate. A revolution would be better.
It was over twelve years ago when a class fellow fell pry to brain stroke. and about three years ago when another friend succumbed to stroke. Now a young friend is in hospital struggling with stroke. His younger brother died of same disease, two years ago. Things have been more complicated by diabetes. What is going on? What is wrong? Sudden strokes and sudden deaths?

Why are you sad and negative?

Do you ever say ‘WOW’?

A friend has asked such questions. According to her, this blogger is a negative person who finds fault with everything. At best this blog offers dark humor and at worst it looks at things upside down. The most despicable is the facetious attitude towards the human emotions. In the end the same question prefixed by another ‘Are you never happy for anything? Questions may sound many but essentially it is a single question. And answer is in full public glare.

The quest for truth and enlightenment.

The truth about everything!

white-flower-20130402x640At certain stage of life or due to certain problems in life, like sour relationships, death, illness, poverty, loss of child or near one or an abysmal feeling of being mortal that too for a short period of time; brings us to a question as to what is the truth of life or in life. Of course those who do not travel beyond two dimensions in their thought, ponder for a lesser period of time and get back to their routine. Others also get back to routine sooner or later but the thought hounds: Have we missed something in life? Were we supposed to perform better? Worse is this thought: Is there God? Did we do something wrong or sinned? or Why this happened to me? Why do I have to be ill? Why should I die? Why can’t I live forever? When such thoughts become persistent it affects the equilibrium of mind. Different reactions take place in different people.

Blogging: Serious risk in reading blogs!

Peeping into personal lives of others, is an ultimate human adventure. We love to see and judge. Even if we rename judging as helping/advising/learning. But the fact remains. Personal blogging gives an opportunity to see inside the mind of blogger albeit through a prism of myriad words which we may or may not understand.
My suggestion to all self-righteous, pious, noble, moral, religious, pure, honest, holy, emotionally unstable, depressed, anxious, di-polarised etc. people is not to read others’ blogs. It may shock them. Forcing them to cry or even more send them in shock, anxiety, despair or depression. Continue reading

The true meditation is awareness of inner voices, the noise and turmoil within!

Internal monologue:

Myth about inner voice and vain search of mirage!

We are in constant monologue with ourselves. As if we are preparing a speech or dialogue or worse, rehearsing a role in a hypothetical situation, a position also called as day dreaming. This movement of thought, in express words, changes at night when a part or all of the words takes shape of pictures, characters or colors. Some time we are conscious of this process but more often we are not. Complete consciousness of this process alongwith complete awareness of our physical presence is true meditation.

Meditation

What is not Meditation?

Unfortunately, unscrupulous dream merchants have made a business out of meditation. It is packaged as every expected dream and sold. It is sold as ‘Prayer’. It is sold as ‘Consciousness’. It is sold as ‘Spirituality’. It is sold as ‘Self-development’. It is also sold as medicine for peace.
Meditation is an incident waiting to happen. To everyone. It is not something to be done or a pursuit to be followed. Though some initial steps look like action but actually it is cessation of action. Meditation is not an achievement but is a method to forgo achievement. The meditation is not a method to meet ‘a personal God’ or to some supreme power but is kick starting the process of self-realization or understanding the truth beyond this Illusory Reality called Maya or better understood as internal monologue.
