The quest for truth and enlightenment.

The truth about everything!

white-flower-20130402x640At certain stage of life or due to certain problems in life, like sour relationships, death, illness, poverty, loss of child or near one or an abysmal feeling of being mortal that too for a short period of time; brings us to a question as to what is the truth of life or in life. Of course those who do not travel beyond two dimensions in their thought, ponder for a lesser period of time and get back to their routine. Others also get back to routine sooner or later but the thought hounds: Have we missed something in life? Were we supposed to perform better? Worse is this thought: Is there God? Did we do something wrong or sinned? or Why this happened to me? Why do I have to be ill? Why should I die? Why can’t I live forever? When such thoughts become persistent it affects the equilibrium of mind. Different reactions take place in different people.

Forgiveness to Whom and Why?

There is a saying ‘to err is human and forgiveness is divine.’ Forgiveness is taken to be such a simple process that we assume that we can forgive people even if we can not forget them or the deeds. Question is what is forgiveness? Do we really forgive? How many times do we forgive ourselves?
The last one is the most important but is also the most unpopular or most ignored question of all the questions. Another question (for the Christian Belief) is that if we do not have to judge others why forgive? The forgiveness is not possible without guilty verdict. But that is not for me to ponder. Forgiveness is stressed in every religion/culture/region.

Why Religion? What caused its origin?

Mortals have to fear one thing most: ‘Death’ and the mystery behind it. Who dies and what is left behind. If dead is left behind then who had died. Curiosity is the human nature. Only monkeys are more curious than humans. The curiosity about death, coupled with the fear gives way to the need for looking beyond out daily routines, which is our only known reality. Any mysterious person who is not afraid of death or who has some explanation, attracts our attention immediately. They are mystics. Those who dare the mystery and do not get dared by it.
