The Ultimate Truth is Discovery of Self.

Greeting for Deepawali 2021:

~शुभ दीपावली~

It is indeed an achievement to greet everyone on Deepawali this year after surviving Corona Pandemic. Corona is the Devil of virus whose after affects lasts for months together. May be some problems will last forever. There is a saying in Sanskrit:

Lead (us) from untruth to truth. Lead us from darkness to light. Lead us from death to immortality.

So what is the truth? Even bigger question is: Is there any truth at all? Everything we know is subject to correction and improvement. Human knowledge has been rewritten so many times that we have lost count.

But there is another problem: who is seeking the truth? The seeker is the vessel in which contents of truth have to arrive. We must know the color of the vessel to know true colors of truth. So the even more important question is who is the seeker? Or Who is me? Or Who is the self which is seeking the truth?

Knowledge of self is a deep enquiry which must be undertaken by the seeker, first. The debate whether self is body or mind, is too old and too settled.

Self is something far too subtle and it has too be beyond memory otherwise we can accept the mind to be self. Is it so?

Discovery of self beyond mere memories is the true discovery for any progress in discovery of truth or whatever we hope to find beyond the metaphysical existence. Without knowledge of self there is no learning, no understanding and no knowledge. It is merely confirmation of what is already in memory. It is another type of hoarding of information without any evolution.

Hence enquiry of self must begin today for the light to dawn on us.

Happy Diwali. Let there be light!

Happy Deepavali / Diwali 2020

शुभ दीपोत्सव !!!

Life is like Rangoli. With all the diligence we draw our life, without knowing when it may whither away.

This year 2020 has been year of deaths and suffering across the globe. From health to physical discomfort to financial hardship or lowered living standards, almost every one has suffered. It is a reminder that our careful plans are at the mercy of uncertainty.

Let’s hope and wish that suffering would be over soon.
