Parliamentarians or people’s representatives are not keeping pace with the maturity of their voters. It is same everywhere. Republicans in USA were engaging with Iran directly. Congress Party of India’s members engaging with Pakistan and questioning foreign Policy of India towards Pakistan while at latter’s soil are a few examples. The more ignorant the electors, the more rube is the representative. Unfortunately the majority who vote are not the people who form opinions. Not always. Kejriwal is helping Auto Rickshaw drivers at the cost of car-owners. But more about him in a few days.
Now this logjam in Parliament on something which is not in control of either parliament or government but in the hand of judiciary which not answerable to both. This situation reminded me when I read this joke: Continue reading →
Elections process kick started today on the day of Ashtami, considered auspicious by most of Hindus, which is the 8th auspicious day of the celebrations of Navratra. India shall vote to elect the Union/Central Government in New Delhi. The Constitution of India is quasi-federal. In other words it is heavily biased in favour of Central/Union Government in terms of power. Every adult person is entitled to vote for the Government. This being Parliamentary form of Government, a representative from each constituency shall be elected and all elected representative shall form a Government. But that is only in principle.
Involvement of political parties with their legal power to whip the members of parliament to act in a certain way, makes the formation of Government, a mere formality if that particular party comes into power with majority seats in Parliament. However the larger question is: How electors elect the representatives? Continue reading →
I have come across certain amazing allegations against the leading lady of India‘s leading political party. The problem is, in the absence of comments from the other side it should be presumed to be true. But is it so. Will somebody come forward and give some other version of truth if it exists, or should we believe it? It claims that the MP gave wrong/false declaration to the Parliament. Is it true?
Who is Sonia?
Antonia is Sonia’s real name in her birth certificate. Sonia is the name given to her subsequently by her father, Stefano Maino [now deceased] following his return from Russia where he had been a prisoner of war. Stefano had joined the Nazi army as a volunteer. Sonia is a Russian not Italian name. While spending two years in a Russian jail, Sonia’s father had become quite pro-Soviet; especially after the liberating US army in Italy had confiscated all fascists’ properties including his.Second, she was not born in Orbassano as she claims in her bio data submitted to Parliament on becoming MP, but in Luciana, as stated in her birth certificate. She perhaps would like to hide the place of her birth because of her father’s connection with the Nazis and Mussolini’s Fascists, and her family’s continuing connections with the Nazi-Fascists underground that is still surviving since 1945 in Italy. Luciana is where Nazi-Fascist network is headquartered, and is on the Italian-Swiss border. There can be no other explanation for this otherwise” (extracted from THE” TRUE”STORY OF” FAKE LEADER” SONIA GANDHI Alias ANTONIA MAINO-By SATYAMITRA « Hinduawaken’s Weblog.)
Will somebody come forward to deny it? Are people entitled to know the truth?
In the spirit of democracy: may be, legally perhaps under RTI Act because it is a question which can be raised by a member of parliament as lying to house is a breach of privilege of house but will some body raise this question? I do not know.
