The drugs angle may have appeared yesterday in the investigation into murder of Sushant Singh Rajput but the matter was proceeding on these lines for a week. Many couriers aka dealers were picked up from Thane, Pune and Mumbai in the week earlier and I had pointed it out yesterday hinting that now it is a fight of Center and DALDA.
Rhea appears on Television:
Yesterday when Rhea appeared on television in a convenient arrangement with an interviewer who hangs his loyality on his sleeves, it had a purpose. The purpose was to send message to the cadres of DALDA.
When ED/CBI came into picture it used the same stretegy to send shivers down the spine of cadres of DALDA by releasing a whatsapp chat that took place in 2017.
Now this was almost a revelation that every person who was involved in Drug trade in Maharashtra is vulnerable and under the watch. The object was to enlist somebody who was willing to become an approver. Now it was the turn of the DALDA.
TV Media is a powerful medium. It’s power lies in moving people to form an opinion without giving all facts or giving just rudimentary facts. Print media does not have this privilege. In the guise of breaking news TV news and say anything and get away with it.

If a breaking news is devoid of facts or complete falsehood or if news channel telecast a religious or criminal bigot’s untested views or worse threats like a loudspeaker, would that be fair?
In one sentence, it is a must watch the movie for those who have ability to rise above the daily routine of self-gratification and need to look upon humanity as a whole. It portrays views of philosopher and political theorist Hannah Arendt, who reported for The New Yorker on the war crimes trial of the Nazi Adolf Eichmann.
It was a long movie of one and half hour but like a hiker who set out to see the glacier, I watched it in one go. Even though the subject of movie was holocaust, mercifully, graphical violence was spared. Continue reading →
It is a complete challenge to create such moving garbage with so many beautiful faces. Jean-Claude Van Damm was at his creative best in remaining completely irrelevant and unimpressive like rest of the cast and viewers would like to damn them all together without any exception. Reason for taking up such movie by Jean-Claude can at best be explained by his psychiatrist if he has one or as and when he hires one, if it is not too late already to do that.
Last Sunday I watched the movie “Life of Pi“. It is an English movie with almost Indian crew. Or perhaps the leading actors are Indian? Whatever. It is claimed to be based on an adventurous novel. The movie has beautifully depicted the adventure. Photography and Direction both need to be appreciated for an excellent job. While actors were at their best performance. The movie starts with the words like ‘God’ and ‘spirituality’. Unfortunately, the message about it is lost in the noise of beauty of presentation of a rather impossible adventure. So what is the spiritual message in the movie? Continue reading →
