Remembering the Mumbai terror attack of 26/11

Taj Palace Hotel on 26/11

On 26th November 2020, 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, an Islamist terrorist organization based in Pakistan, carried out 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks lasting four days across Mumbai. (166 dead and 293 injured from 24 countries) Entire India was glued to their Television watching in horror the live telecast of the attack. It turned out that the handlers of terrorists were guiding them by watching live TV. Four days looked like forever. Under Secretary in Home Ministry RVS Mani in his book, revealed that at least 12 hours were wasted by the then Home Minister in unnecessary protocols. Why?

Forging of Saffron Terror

The conspiracy:

Aziz Burney as a journalist in 2008 itself wrote various articles which blamed RSS and every outfit in India rather than Pakistan. Two yeas later he published these articles as a book titled 26/11: RSS ki Saazish? (“26/11: An RSS conspiracy?”) hinting that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was somehow linked to the attack and launched the book in presence of Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on December 6, 2010.At the time of launch, Singh said that Mumbai ATS chief Hemant Karkare had called him, hours before he was killed in the terror attacks, to tell him about threats he had received for probing Hindu extremists and their terror links.

Launch of the book “26/11 RSS Ki Sazish

Later as RSS filed a case of defamation against Aziz Burney and he apologized for it on the front page of Rashtriya Sahara. At that time RSS had rejected the apology and it is not clear as to what happened to defamation case it had filed against Burney.

But there was a problem. On of the terrorist was caught alive by sheer bravery of Hutatma Tukaram ji  who caught MOHAMMED AJMAL MOHAMMAD AMIR KASAB @ ABU MUJAHID (Ajmal Kasab in short) alive or else Congress or Pakistan or both had set up all plan to call the attack as Hindu Atañkwád (terror).

Tukaramji

Amjal Kasab made a detailed statement before the courts in which he revealed:

Ameer Hafiz Sayeed fixed the time for the attacks at 7.30 PM. When Kasab asked why the attack should take place at that particular time, Hafiz Sayeed explained that this was the time when the targeted places would be most crowded, and insisted that the attack must take place at 7.30 PM. Kafa told them that the ten (10) “Mujahedeens”, would be given ID cards with fake Hindu names and that they would go to Hindustan with those fake ID cards. On the way, they would also tie sacred threads around their wrists like Hindus do. When Ismail asked about the need for ID cards and threads, Kafa replied that with those ID cards nobody could stop them and they would be easily successful in their mission. And the threads on their wrists would deceive the police.

RVS Mani is a former bureaucrat who worked as an undersecretary in the Home Ministry during the Congress era. In his book ‘Hindu Terror’, Mani has illustrated and explained the  collusion and the players who colluded to create the ‘saffron terror’ narrative and circumstantial evidence indicating that Congress leaders and several others were involved in the conspiracy which led to Mumbai terror attack. Do read this book:

What Barak Obama has written about Mumbai attacks:

What I couldn’t tell was whether Singh’s rise to power represented the future of India’s democracy or merely an aberration………………. Then there was the problem of Pakistan: Its continuing failure to work with India to investigate the 2008 terrorist attacks on hotels and other sites in Mumbai had significantly increased tensions between the two countries, in part because Lashkar-e-Tayyiba, the terrorist organization responsible, was believed to have links to Pakistan’s intelligence service. Singh had resisted calls to retaliate against Pakistan after the attacks, but his restraint had cost him politically. He feared that rising anti-Muslim sentiment had strengthened the influence of India’s main opposition party, the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)…………..“In uncertain times, Mr. President,” the prime minister said, “the call of religious and ethnic solidarity can be intoxicating. And it’s not so hard for politicians to exploit that, in India or anywhere else.”

(Chapter 24 of Promised Land by Barak Obama)
The big question, what prevented Manmohan Singh from taking any action? Why was the policy of being soft on Pakistan? Do Indian Muslim vote to the Congress for being soft on Pakistan?

Kasab the butcher:

Kasab is a derivative of Kasai or the butcher. The caught terrorist was so brain washed that the Supreme Court had no option but to condemn him to death. Supreme Court described Kasab as:

The saddest and the most disturbing part of the case is that the appellant never showed any remorse for the terrible things he did. As seen earlier, in the initial weeks after his arrest he continued to regard himself as a “watan parast”, a patriotic Pakistani who considered himself to be at war with this country, who had no use for an Indian lawyer but needed a Pakistani lawyer to defend him in the court. He made the confessional statement before the magistrate on February 17, 2009, not out of any sense of guilt or sorrow or grief but to present himself as a hero. He told the magistrate that he had absolutely no regret for whatever he had done and he wanted to make the confession to set an example for others to become Fidayeen like him and follow him in his deeds.

(Supreme Court while pronouncing death sentence for Kasab)

The ultimate Hero:

Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan

Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan led the commando operation launched on 27th November 2008 to flush out terrorists from Hotel Taj Mahal, Mumbai in which he rescued 14 hostages.
During the operation, his team came under intense hostile fire, in which one of his team members got grievously injured. Major Sandeep pinned down the terrorists with accurate fire and rescued the injured commando to safety. In the process, he was shot in his right arm. Despite his injuries, he continued to fight the terrorists till his last breath.  Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan displayed most conspicuous bravery besides camaraderie and leadership of the highest order and made the supreme sacrifice for the nation

Lesson learnt?

As I am about to publish this article, there is an encounter going on in Srinagar in which two of our brave heart soldiers have given there life. The encounter is going on. Why the Pakistan does not abate terrorism?

The fact that 26 November is the day which is celebrated as Constitution Day as on this day in 1950 the Constitution of India was adopted, speaks volume about the intention of the terrorists sent from Pakistan.

Was Congress Party complicit in attacks:

RVS Mani is quite emphatic of some forces operating in the Government which felicitated Mumbai attack. According to him the aforesaid book of Aziz Burney was being printed even before attacks took place. Here is an interview with RVS Mani on the subject of his book:
