Sushant Singh Rajput, an accomplished actor was found dead on the night of 13-14 June 2020 at his home in Mumbai. He was single and aged 34 years. Mumbai Police registered ADR or Accidental Death Report and proceeded to investigate if there was any crime. So far it has found none. A week before his death, an employee of Sushant namely Disha Salian had allegedly committed suicide by jumping of high rise building in very suspicious circumstances.
Justice for Sushant Singh Rajput:
Father of Sushant, aged 70 lodged a complaint with police in Patna, Bihar which is his home town. According to him he had lodged a complaint on 25 February 2020 apprehending the threat to life of Sushant. Bihar police lodged an FIR and a team of Bihar police reached Mumbai and found out many financial details about Sushant. Rhea Chakravarti girl friend who was in ‘live in’ relationship with Sushant has been named a suspect in FIR.
An attempt by the Bihar cops to access documents linked to the alleged suicide of Sushant’s celebrity manager Disha Salian (28) was stonewalled by Mumbai Police on Sunday on grounds that they did not follow the protocol. Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh said the Bihar team had exceeded their brief: the law requires an offence to be probed by police and courts within whose jurisdiction it has been committed. The obstruction by Mumbai police and Bihar Police touched a new high after a visiting IPS officer was forcefully placed under quarantine after the authorities having not insisted the ritual for the Bihar police team that arrived earlier.
The Mumbai police commissioner meanwhile stated that they have sought a legal opinion on ‘inter-jurisdictional’ probe being conducted by the Bihar police. The investigation into suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput seems to have lost priority amidst the tussle between two police forces which has now taken a political turn. Today, Bihar Government has announced that it will recommend to the Federal Government for investigation by CBI. Mumbai Government has called this move to be without jurisdiction.
Meanwhile a picture of Aditya Thakrey, a Minister and son of Chief Minister of Maharashtra alongwith a girl (allegedly Rhea Chakravarti) is circulating on social media. See
The first question is: Was there a crime committed? Was death of Sushant a murder?
Crime is always committed in secrecy. Witnesses have to traced out and it takes time. The police has to find out three things to treat an unnatural death as murder:
- Motive; 2. Means 3. Opportunity
First the Motive:
Sushant had about 17 Crore or 170 million in his bank account. out of it 150 million is gone. It is a huge sum for most of people. It may not matter for Sushant but it did. He wanted to open another account and transfer the money into that account? Who was he suspicious of? This is the first motive which is equals to 170 million motives.
The other motive is in the picture, above. Was Rhea contemplating to leave Sushant, possibly with money? It is not in dispute that she was operating his account as well as credit card for her personal expenses including petty expenses like hair dresser.
On 25th February Mumbai police was informed by the family that Sushant has been taken to an unknown location by Rhea and her family members and that his phone is not reachable and that family is apprehensive of motives. Rhea is now absconding and her where about is not known.
Where was Rhea and Aditya Thakrey on the night of murder/death of Sushant? What are their respective call records?
There was a Hindi movie named Sarkar made with the consent of grand father of Aditya Thakrey. Watch that movie and tell me about the lack of means. It is about common knowledge. Why doesn’t Aditya Thakrey addresses a press conference and deny that he had no contact with Rhea or Sushant for one week prior and after the death of Sushant.
This is the strangest part. All security camera in the building or adjacent buildings were not working. Rhea who was living there left ‘so called ailing’ Sushant alone and left. Servants were sent away. Where was pet dog of Sushant? It has been handed to his sister now.
The suspicious circumstances of death of Sushant by hanging is not easy to prove. Where is the autopsy report? I want to see the ‘V’ neck mark. Where is videography? Why Mumbai police has not yet registered an FIR, inspite of above circumstances? Why Mumbai police is hood winking people by using the word “cause of action” which has no role in Criminal Law. If they do not know they should read my book on Criminal Law here.
Crime is always committed in a series of events and police at every place where every part of offence is committed has jurisdiction to investigate. But big question is:
