Hipocrisy when translated in Hindi means ‘pakhand’ or पाखंड।

It means posing as someone who is not. Its earliest example is in Ramayan wherein Ravan posed as a sanyasi and abducted Sita. Politicians often do not practice what they preach.

If looked around, I find that Navjot Singh Siddhu is at the top. He has replaced Manmohan Singh in hypocrisy. Navjot was a cricketer who had played for India few decades back. After retirement he tried cricket commentary, perhaps with reasonable success. Then he became a “Laughter Host” a new position in a comedy show where he has to play a dummy host and laugh hilariously, sometimes to throw one liners. Then he joined BJP on side lines and became it’s member of Parliament, several times. In 2014 he was dropped but later he was compensated by nomination to upper house. After few months he flipped and joined Congress Party. See this video:

After saying all these jokes about Congress, he joined Congress Party and is now uniting Muslim votes for it. Siddhu started shouting Allah Ho Akbar, a slogan resisting which his religion Sikh-Khalsa was founded. All this to seek vote?

List of actions or reversal rather summersaults by Siddhu is long. He has so far undone everything he had done or spoken as member of BJP. In 2019 elections he had announced in public that he would retire from politics if Rahul Gandhi loses from Amethi. He lost and Siddhu went into hiding. Press can’t catch hold of him. Thus he proved to be most hypocrite person. Posters have been put up asking him to quit. See

Manmohan Singh is now second on list. He is doctorate in economics and what is his achievement?

In 1947 dollar was equal to 7 rupee. In 2007, that is after 50 years it fell to 37 rupee. And by 2014 in juat about 5 years it fell to 70 rupee for a dollar. 50 year fall equall to 5 years fall.

But that is not all, the media management was so good that no one put this question about fall in currency value to MMS. Add to it the rampant inflation. Prices of food quadrupled in 4 years.

MMS was no economist. He was a politician without mass appeal or communication skills who enjoyed power for 10 years and did not step down even when his entire cabinet was exposed for rampant corruption. We have said Adieus to him recently.

These two persons are real hypocrites on top of the ladder.
