Felicitations for the New Year 2018.

New year celebrations always amaze me. Why and what is actually celeberated. Logically it should be a celebration of successful completion of orbital journey of earth around sun ☀ but nobody looks at it that way. Had it been so, the celebration 🎉 would have been at the dawn or sunset 🌇 not in the middle of the night 🌃.

So what are we celebrating?

My guess is that New Year celebrations are celebrations for hope. Hope for better or more or different whatever that means as it does mean differently to different people.

Human mind, vagabond as it is, is never satisfied. It’s everlasting hunger for change keeps it going from one nothing to next nothing without realising that its journey is in circles and is tethered to thought.

Be it as it may, let your desire for change may come true. May you be able to see the journey in circles so as to be beyond it.
