The manner of our living life is summed up by Samuel Smile in these words:
Sow a thought, and you reap an act;
Sow an act, and you reap a habit;
Sow a habit, and you reap a character;
Sow a character, and you reap a destiny.
However the above is not the method of living.
It is a method to achieve, chase or to win. Living is now and here not at some utopian destination.
Some poets really miss the point and remain on peripheral boundaries of thought without understanding anything at all. I wonder if above words were aimed to inspire an army or what.
What I see happening is that people are lost in thought day dreaming some destination. They are so lost that not only they fail to notice surroundings and work but also people around them. It is no living. It is a perpetual curse.
With a similar observation, Buddha had cautioned about the fall out of becoming. Read it here.
